Stewart Black Modern is a striking black-based tartan with vibrant overchecks, rooted in centuries of Scottish royal heritage. The Stewart dynasty traces its lineage to Walter, High Steward of Scotland, whose marriage to Princess Marjory, daughter of King Robert the Bruce, established a line that would produce Scotland's first Stewart king, Robert II.
